Open to: Graduate level students (Master and Doctor students), and undergraduates who will be enrolled on a graduate level as of 1 February 2015, borned in 1985 or later
Venue: 7–8 May 2015 at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.

The St. Gallen Symposium is a global gathering of Leaders of Today and Tomorrow that takes place annually in May at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It is organised by the International Students’ Committee (ISC), a team of students from the university. The 45th St. Gallen Symposium will take place from 7–8 May 2015 at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.

Our goal is to provide a setting for relevant debates between Leaders of Today and Tomorrow on topics of management, politics and civil society.

Student competition
Students enter into a challenging exchange of ideas with today’s global leaders about the pressing economic and societal questions of our time. Competitors are invited to submit their thoughts and visions on the theme of the St. Gallen Symposium. All contributions will be evaluated according to specific criteria by an independent jury, composed of professors, corporate executives, entrepreneurs and politicians.

The authors of the 100 best contributions qualify for a participation in the St. Gallen Symposium.

You must be enrolled at a recognised university or an educational institution that is affiliated to a university,
and you must be enrolled in a graduate or post-graduate programme (e.g. Master, MBA, Ph.D., postgraduate Diplomas) and you must be born in or after 1985.

How to submit your essay?
- Create your account and fill in the application form.
- If you are eiligible, you must choose one of the four given competition questions and create your contribution in the form of an essay, video or multimedia presentation.
Prepare all required documents:
-Your contribution as a single digital file
-A short text-based abstract describing your contribution in a maximum of 200–300 words.
-A confirmation of matriculation: an official document provided by your university proving your enrolment in a graduate program or higher as of 1 February 2015.
-Valid ID: this may be a scan of your passport, national ID card, drivers’ license or other forms of ID proving your date of birth being in or after 1985 along with a photograph, your full name and nationality.
